What’s Going On:
Lane closures on Cameron Blvd. from Mary Alexander to John Kirk.
When:
Tuesday, May 19, 2026 6:00 AM to Saturday, May 23, 2026 6:00 PM
What to Expect:
– Heavy road construction equipment will be in use.
– Traffic control present during the daytime hours.
– Lane closures will remain in effect overnight to allow asphalt to cure.

To maintain and repair campus roads through asphalt repairs.

CRI SIDE EXTERIOR BUILDING CLEANING – SOFT WASHING
What’s Going On:
Soft washing of buildings on the CRI side of campus the week of May 18 – 22, 2026.
When:
Monday, May 18, 2026 6:00 AM to Friday, May 22, 2026 6:00 PM
What to Expect:
– Pressure washing / Soft wash equipment will be in use.
– Areas will be blocked off with caution tape and cones.
– May be a slight bleach smell.
– Please avoid these working areas during this time.

* Grigg Hall
* EPIC Building
* BATT CAVE Research Center

ROAD DETOUR AT CAMERON BLVD AND UNIVERSITY RD INTERSECTION
What’s Going On:
Next phase of sidewalk renovation construction project at West Deck with the existing sidewalk area and north bound lane of Cameron Blvd. is being closed.
When:
Monday, May 18, 2026 7:00 AM to Friday, May 22, 2026 4:00 PM
What to Expect:
– All approaching north bound traffic on Cameron Blvd. will have to turn right on University Rd.
– South bound lane traffic will remain open throughout time period.
– Vehicular access to West Deck will not be interrupted but pedestrian access will be altered.
– Large construction trucks, skid steers, excavators, and multiple contractor construction personnel on site.
– Proceed with caution when near this construction site for safety.
– Please notify all anticipated campus delivery vendors and West Deck vehicular patrons of this route change.
– Please follow posted detour and road closure signage with barricades.

LOT 11 PARKING SPACE CLOSURES – Lot 11
What’s Going On:
Parking spaces will be blocked off during construction of the Loy Witherspoon Center for Meditation and Reflection.
When:
Friday, May 8, 2026 8:00 AM to Friday, January 29, 2027 5:00 PM
What to Expect:
6 parking spaces will be permanently closed and captured for the construction of the new Loy Witherspoon Center, and section of spaces adjacent to the construction site entrance will be temporarily closed for a portion of the construction project.
Why:
For the new construction of the Loy Witherspoon Center for Meditation and Reflection.

LOT 6 PARTIAL CLOSURE – Lot 6
What’s Going On:
Lot 6 will be partially closed for a few weeks.
When:
Tuesday, May 12, 2026 6:00 AM to Tuesday, June 9, 2026
What to Expect:
– Construction equipment.
– Barricades closing part of the lot.
– Access to the lot will still be available on both sides.
– The area closed will get smaller as the modular units are installed.
Why:
To stage the modular classrooms for installation.

EAST DECK 3 CLOSURE – East Deck 3
What’s Going On:
East Deck 3 will be closed for repair work.
When:

What to Expect:
– Construction equipment and barricades.
– Alternate permit parking available in East Deck 2.
Why:
Repair of underground piping below deck.

What’s Going On:
Lot 15, CHHS Lane, and all public access to the Honeywell Innovation Hub (Burson Hall) will be closed off. Sidewalks along Craver Road and Library Lane will also be closed off.

What to Expect:
Reminder about LOT 15 Closure.
Barricading with signage indicating closure & rerouting pedestrian and ADA traffic.

MODULAR CLASSROOM SEWER INSTALLATION
What’s Going On:
Installation of new sewer line from Lot 6/Lot 5A to Martin Hall
When:
Monday, March 9, 2026 to Tuesday, June 30, 2026
What to Expect:
– Walking paths will be closed.
– Open areas near CAB, Martin Hall, Lot 5 and Lot 6 will be closed to pedestrian traffic.
– Excavation equipment in the area.

KING BUILDING FACADE REPAIRS – King
What’s Going On:
King building will start undergoing facade repairs next month. The contractor will be marking areas of the facade to be repaired.
When:
Wednesday, January 28, 2026 to Tuesday, June 30, 2026
What to Expect:
– Permanent markings on the King building.
– Areas of the building will be marked with color to be repaired.
Why:
To notifiy the campus that this is not graffiti. These markings will be visible until those areas are removed as part of the repairs.
