Apprenticeship Program

Program Status Update

The Facilities Management Apprenticeship Program is temporarily on hold as we actively restructure and expand our curriculum. Launched in 2019 as a pioneering workforce initiative within the UNC System, our initial pilot successfully established a debt-free technical pathway for electrical apprentices. To meet the growing demand for skilled trades across campus, we are currently evolving the program framework. This intentional pause allows our team to design comprehensive training paths for additional high-demand technical trades. We look forward to reopening applications for an enhanced, multi-craft learning experience in the near future.
