TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PARKING LOT 26
What’s Going On:
Parking Lot 26 will be temporarily closed.
The upper parking lot will be closed on May 21 beginning at 5PM.
When:
Friday, May 22, 2026 5:00 PM to Friday, July 3, 2026 7:00 PM
What to Expect:
– Visitors and vendors can park in Lot 25 with the proper permit.
– Parking lot will be barricaded off.
– Construction equipment and personnel will be on site.
– Fleet cars will be moved from lot 26. New location to be determined.
– A new sidewalk from North Deck to the Facilities Annex buildings will be constructed prior to the beginning of the parking lot work. This work to start on May 18th and will not interfere with the parking lot.

Parking lot is being renewed/paved.

FOUNDATION RESTROOM CLOSURE 204, 219, 220 – UNC Charlotte Foundation
What’s Going On:
Restroom Closure to Foundation 204, 219 and 220.
When:
Monday, May 25, 2026 5:00 AM to Monday, June 1, 2026 5:00 AM
What to Expect:
– Restrooms will be closed Monday, May 25 through Monday, June 1.
– Floor crew equipment and technicians will be present.
– Restrooms will be blocked off including signage.
Why:
Restoration of restroom floors.

STORRS, FRIDAY, & KENNEDY BUILDING DISRUPTIONS FOR REPAIR WORK
What’s Going On:
Disruptions in the form of construction noise impacting rooms on all levels at the perimeters of the buildings.
When:
Friday, May 22, 2026 7:00 AM to Friday, August 14, 2026 11:59 PM
What to Expect:
Construction personnel and equipment will be working their way around the three buildings, using sidewalks and pathways to stage lifts as needed.

Why:
To facilitate extensive building envelope repairs and sealant replacement.

Maintenance of the Wells Fargo Fieldhouse parking lot.
When:

What to Expect:
Vehicle access will be restricted to the parking lot May 20th and 21st (Weather Permitting).

Why:
To seal-coat, crack-seal, and re-stripe the parking lot.

What to Expect:
Vehicle access will be restricted to the parking lot May 20th and 21st (Weather Permitting).

RUP 4 COOLING OUTAGE
What’s Going On:
Cooling will be down to all buildings served by RUP 4.
When:
Thursday, May 21, 2026 6:00 AM to Thursday, May 21, 2026 4:00 PM
What to Expect:
– Temperatures warmer throughout buildings.
– Boldyn’s services will be down at buildings fed off RUP 4.
– All OneIT and Boldyn network equipment will be down in RUP 4 and South Village Deck.
– All elevator phones for the HRL buildings with analog phone services will be down as well as FAX lines, Emergency Phones in South Village, Gage and Foundation Annex area.
