PARKING LOT 11 CLOSURE – Lot 11
What’s Going On:
Inclement Weather has impacted Lot 11’s scheduled repairs.
Lot 11, located near the Price Counseling Center and the Waddell Center for Student Health, maintenance dates have changed.
When:
Monday, July 14, 2025 7:30 AM to Wednesday, July 16, 2025 5:00 PM
What to Expect:
– No access to Parking Lot 11 for approximately three days, Monday July 14th through Wednesday July 16th, weather permitting.
Why:
Parking Lot 11 will be seal coated and painted.

WALLIS HALL COURTYARD AND BREEZEWAY CLOSURE – Wallis Hall
What’s Going On:
The courtyard and breezeway at Wallis Hall will be closed for the summer. No pedestrian traffic.
When:
Monday, May 12, 2025 to Friday, August 1, 2025
What to Expect:
– Construction fencing will be installed on the light rail side of the building and the Lynch Hall side of the building.
– No access through the breezeway will be allowed.
– All pedestrian traffic will need to go around the building.
Why:
To install a new roof on Wallis hall.

JUDY ROSE FOOTBALL COOLING OUTAGE – Judy W. Rose Football Center
What’s Going On:
Loss of cooling to the building.
When:
Tuesday, July 1, 2025 8:00 AM to Friday, July 11, 2025 11:59 PM
What to Expect:
-Warmer than normal temperatures in building.
Why:
Mechanical failure on chiller.

What’s Going On:
Temporary Closure of Parking Lot 8A.
When:
Thursday, July 3, 2025 5:00 AM to Friday, July 11, 2025 7:00 AM
What to Expect:
– Large crane being delivered.
– Construction equipment and personnel on site.
– Flagmen on site to assist with traffic and pedestrians.
Affected Buildings:
* Housing and Residence Life
* South Village Crossing
* Wilson Hall
Why:
Large crane being assembled in parking lot 8A to be used for the demolition of Sanford Hall.

DEMOLITION OF SANFORD HALL
What’s Going On:
Commencement of the contract to demolish Sanford Hall.
When:
Tuesday, January 28, 2025 8:00 AM to Monday, November 3, 2025 5:00 PM
What to Expect:
– Construction vehicles and personnel in the area of Sanford Hall.
– The demolition of the structure will begin after commencement in May.
– Work beginning now is removal of debris within the building and installing scaffolding and encapsulating the build.
Affected Buildings:
* South Village Crossing
* Sanford Hall
* Levine Hall
* Wilson Hall
* Sanford Hall Lane
Why:
Building has reached the end of it’s life cycle.
