The east doors of Reese leading to Colvard will be partially blocked off.

When:
Thursday, October 9, 2025 8:00 AM to Sunday, October 12, 2025 5:00 PM

What to Expect:
– Work will continue until Sunday October 12th at 5:00pm.

– Area will be blocked off with cones and caution tape.
– Only one set of doors will be blocked off at a time.
– Scaffolding or scissor lift will be on site.

To repair and repaint overhang.

What to Expect:
– Craver Road is reopened to all traffic.

To complete the installation of speed humps and signs.

What’s Going On:
Cameron Hall water will be unavailable the entire weekend.

When:
Friday, October 10, 2025 5:00 PM to Monday, October 13, 2025 7:00 AM

What to Expect:
– Contractor will be in all areas of the building where water is provided to run faucets and flush toilets.
– Possible odors from the chemical compound used to disinfect the water lines.
– Please do not use any water in the building during this time.

Why:
All water lines in the building are being disinfected as part of the Cameron 2nd Fl Renovation project.

– Contractor personnel and vehicles on Sanford Lane in the area between South Village and Wilson Hall.
– Emergency power will still be operational.
Affected Buildings:
* South Village Crossing
* Wilson Hall

Why:
To remove the electrical service feed that served the now demolished Sanford Hall.

The northwest corner of the intersection of Cameron Blvd. and Phillips Rd will blocked off to replace damaged curb and pavers.

– Expect partial lane and sidewalk obstruction.
– Cones will be blocking off the area.
– Personnel will be on-site directing pedestrian traffic.
– Equipment will be present to complete replacement of damaged curbs and pavers.

Shutting down steam in Woodward

What to Expect:
– Steam supply to equipment will be off.
– This will mainly affect the Vivarium and the labs.

Why:
Contractor will be working on system.

What’s Going On:
The pedestrian bridge connecting the 2nd Floor of Burson/Honeywell Innovation Hub (at the southeast corner) to the sidewalk at Library Lane will be closed to non-emergency traffic.

When:
Saturday, October 11, 2025 7:00 AM to Saturday, October 11, 2025 12:00 PM

What to Expect:
– Signage and barricades on both sides of the bridge indicating the temporary closure.
– Construction equipment/machinery and materials in the area.
– The bridge will be usable for emergency traffic.
– The first floor entry/exit and connection to the Library Lane sidewalk will remain open.

Why:
To facilitate structural steel shoring of the bridge framing.
