What’s Going On:
The east sidewalk on Cameron Blvd, near the intersection of Cameron Blvd and Johnson Alumni Way, will be closed for construction.

What to Expect:
– Barricades and signage in place.

Why:
To create an access into the woods behind Laurel Hall for the Sanitary Sewer project.

What’s Going On:
Plumbing maintenance to install new, upgraded flush valves for toilets and urinals.

When:
Thursday, June 11, 2026 6:00 AM to Friday, June 12, 2026 4:30 PM

What to Expect:
– The following specific restrooms will be closed: Men’s 161, Women’s 162, Men’s 241, Women’s 242, Men’s 360, Women’s 362, Men’s 370, Women’s 371.
– The specified restrooms will be completely shut down and unavailable for use during the maintenance window.
– Please use the restrooms located on the south side of the building during this time.

Why:
This closure is required to perform necessary hardware upgrades.

What’s Going On:
Sidewalk renovation continues at West Deck with closure of the north bound lane and sidewalk area for topsoil placement.

When:
Monday, June 8, 2026 7:00 AM to Friday, June 12, 2026 6:00 PM

What to Expect:
– All approaching north bound traffic on Cameron Blvd. will have to turn right on University Rd.
– South bound lane traffic will remain open throughout time period.
– Vehicular access to West Deck will not be interrupted but pedestrian access will be altered.
– Large construction trucks, skid steers, excavators, and multiple contractor construction personnel on site.
– Proceed with caution when near this construction site for safety.
– Please notify all anticipated campus delivery vendors and West Deck vehicular patrons of this route change.
– Please follow posted detour and road closure signage with barricades.

What to Expect:
– Lights in East Deck and Lot 6 will be out.
– Generator will running the traffic lights by Cato Hall.
– Power to East Deck and surrounding lots will be out.
– Sidewalk into Lot 6 from Martin Hall might be blocked by equipment at times.

To make final connections to the transformer near Lot 6.

What to Expect:
– Pressure washing / Soft wash equipment will be in use.
– Areas will be blocked off with caution tape and cones.
– May be a slight bleach smell.
– Please avoid these working areas during this time.

Wilson Alumni Way, by SoVi will be partially closed for sewer repair work.

When:

What to Expect:
– Limited access to the area behind Wilson and Levine.
– Loading dock to SoVi will remain open.
– Excavation in the road with equipment.
– Flagmen will be on hand to direct traffic as needed.

Why:
To repair a section of sewer pipe under the road.

Crews will be on site to install new chain guards on building loading docks (or repair existing ones).

When:
Wednesday, June 3, 2026 8:00 AM to Wednesday, June 10, 2026 5:00 PM

What to Expect:
– Workers will be present at building loading docks and trash dumps.
– Existing chain guard systems will be repaired if present.
– New chain guards will be installed on loading dock openings and at trash dumps.
– Work will not interfere with normal loading dock operations.
– These repairs will be weather permitting.
