What’s Going On:
The sidewalk behind Sanford and Levine Halls will be temporarily closed.

When:
Thursday, July 17, 2025 6:00 AM to Friday, August 1, 2025

What to Expect:
Sidewalk will be temporarily closed from 7am until 6pm daily until further notice. Sidewalk will be fenced off during this time. Please use the walkway through the Levine breezeway and courtyard between Levine and Wilson Halls.
Affected Buildings:
* Levine Hall
* Wilson Hall

Why:
Due to falling debris from Sanford Hall demolition activities.

What’s Going On:
Lot 6 will be closed.

When:
Monday, August 4, 2025 6:00 AM to Tuesday, August 5, 2025 12:00 PM

What to Expect:
– No access to Lot 6.
– Construction equipment and barricades.

– In the case of inclement weather, this closure will occur the next possible day for the same time span.
– Updates will follow as needed.

Why:
To support construction activities for the Friday HVAC project.

What’s Going On:
Reese Atrium area closed with the exception of emergency egress.

When:
Wednesday, July 16, 2025 7:00 AM to Monday, August 4, 2025 2:00 PM

What to Expect:
– Access to the Atrium area in Reese closed.
– Temporary signage directing people to the ground floor entrance to access interior stairs and elevators.
– Office of the Bursar will remain open with access from the second floor.

Why:
The Atrium Area in Reese will be closed for the construction of Scaffolding to complete the installation of Fire Alarm Notification Devices.

What’s Going On:
The courtyard and breezeway at Wallis Hall will be closed for the summer. No pedestrian traffic.

When:
Monday, May 12, 2025 to Friday, August 1, 2025

What to Expect:
– Construction fencing will be installed on the light rail side of the building and the Lynch Hall side of the building.
– No access through the breezeway will be allowed.
– All pedestrian traffic will need to go around the building.

Why:
To install a new roof on Wallis hall.

What’s Going On:
Commencement of the contract to demolish Sanford Hall.

When:
Tuesday, January 28, 2025 8:00 AM to Monday, November 3, 2025 5:00 PM

What to Expect:
– Construction vehicles and personnel in the area of Sanford Hall.
– The demolition of the structure will begin after commencement in May.
– Work beginning now is removal of debris within the building and installing scaffolding and encapsulating the build.
Affected Buildings:
* South Village Crossing
* Sanford Hall
* Levine Hall
* Wilson Hall
* Sanford Hall Lane

Why:
Building has reached the end of it’s life cycle.
