UNIVERSITY CITY BLVD LANE CLOSURES AND CROSSWALK EXPANSION – Campus

What’s Going On:
The City of Charlotte is installing a crosswalk behind the Gage Admissions Building across University City Blvd (HWY 49). This crosswalk will connect to the sidewalk near the main campus entrance. Additionally, the city is implementing crosswalk improvements on University City Blvd (HWY 49) at Suther Rd.

When:
Monday, November 9, 2026 to Saturday, May 1, 2027

What to Expect:
Please be aware that the schedule is weather-dependent and may change due to rain, the threat of rain, or low temperatures. The City of Charlotte, which is conducting the work, will communicate any schedule changes as promptly as possible.

Lane closures between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM
