Engineering is responsible for providing specialized engineering support, managing the University’s energy resources, integrated life-cycle management plan; and supporting a number of other complex project management initiatives and projects while working in partnership with other FM units and campus partners.
Comprised of a team of professional engineers, program managers and technicians, the Engineering team provides engineering support and services in the following areas:
- Mechanical, civil and electrical engineering consultation
- Energy management (utility meters and billing)
- Critical system management (lab systems)
- Stormwater management
- Reclaimed Water System management
- Sewer system management
- Building Retro-commissioning
- Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Facilities Conditions Assessment Program (FCAP)
- Building Automation System (BAS) Controls Shop
