Cleaning Services in the Academic and Administrative Buildings and Offices
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, wipe boards, empty trash
- Clean restroom, common areas, window glass, wash walls
- Pick up exterior trash within 15 feet of entrances
- Restroom cleaning: Dry sweep floors, Empty Trash, Disinfect partitions & Fixtures, Replenish resources
- Damp/Spot mop hard surface floors in classrooms and public areas
- Vacuum carpets in public areas and classrooms
- Clean door frames, kick plates, push plates and light switches
- Spot clean carpet
- Empty trash containers in public areas
- Clean walk off mats
- Clean water fountains
- Offices are cleaned on Wednesday nights (Excludes trash removal from offices)
- Scrub restroom floors and walls
- Dust HVAC vents
- Wax touch up
- Clean trash containers
- Dust blinds
- Clean windows and frames (inside)
- Clean pipes where visible
- Machine scrub / wet mop hard surface floors
- Dust office furnishings and public areas
- Clean vinyl and upholstered furniture
- Clean upholstered partitions
- Shampoo carpets in high traffic areas
- Clean wood floors in Storrs and Rowe buildings
- Clean outside windows (contracted)
- Shampoo all carpets
- Strip and refinish resilient and tile floors
Floor Maintenance
- Strip, scrub, wax, buff and clean carpet
- Clean upholstered furniture
Security
- Unlock the academic buildings in the mornings
- Work with campus police to ensure that buildings are locked at night
