SOVI SEWER LINING PROJECT

What’s Going On:
The SoVi Sanitary Sewer project is lining some of the older sewer pipes in the area.

When:
Monday, November 9, 2026 to Friday, November 13, 2026

What to Expect:
– Pumping equipment and liner trucks in the work area.
– Flaggers directing traffic during temporary lane closures.
– Some noise associated with the construction activities.
Affected Buildings:
* Housing and Residence Life
* South Village Crossing
* Wilson Hall

Why:
The liners are necessary to reinforce aging sewer pipes, improve their structural integrity, and help extend their service life.
