Burson Bridge Replacement

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders on May 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Room 123A, The FOPS Building at 9643 Poplar Ln., Charlotte, N.C. 28262.

Project Description:
This project consists of structural repairs and waterproofing replacement at a pedestrian bridge at Burson Hall (to be known as Honeywell Innovation Hub) on the campus of UNC Charlotte. The building is located at 9006 Craver Road, Charlotte, NC. The scope of the project includes structural repairs to the bridge superstructure and the installation of a new trench drain and expansion joint. The scope also includes removing and replacing the precast panels and demolition and replacement of the bridge topping slab. The project includes all other work as shown, indicated, or reasonably implied on the drawings and/or specifications for a complete, first-class job.
