Daniella Newbill

Daniella M. Newbill is the Executive Assistant to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities Management at UNC Charlotte. Her military and civilian career has contributed to 21 years of experience in project coordination, leadership development, organizational strategic management, etc. Further, Daniella brings extensive experience in advising and supporting commanders and senior-level executives in various divisions, including the military, academic affairs, business affairs, and student affairs. Her commitment to higher education was kindled during her tenure at Troy University in the ROTC program and Oakwood University, where she was the senior project coordinator for the Vice-President of Quality Assurance, Research, and Faculty Development and as the main caretaker of the Anna Knight Women’s Center. Daniella currently serves as the Wing First Sergeant in the Alabama Air National Guard

Daniella has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Leadership and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership with Human Resource Development. She is passionate about developing future leaders and promoting a healthy work-life balance. Outside of work, Daniella enjoys staying active through traveling, running and competing in CrossFit competitions. She also values quality time with her family and is known for her love of personal fitness training.
