Commissioning Agent Request for Qualifications- Upper Prospector Renovation

Project Description:

The project will be a comprehensive renovation of dining facilities in the 200 level of the Prospector
building. This will include interior demolition and new interior construction of approximately 16,700
square feet. The project includes a new layout with new food venues, seating areas, finishes, lighting,
replacement of food service equipment, replacement of mechanical, electrical distribution and exhaust
systems.
The architect for this building is Biloba Architecture of 8801 J M Keynes Drive, #365; Charlotte, NC
28262. The project is currently in the Schematic Design phase. The selected commissioning firm members
will be active advisors to the Project Team and provide “Enhanced Commissioning” in accordance with
University requirements and Senate Bill 668 and provide M&V (Measurement and Verification) of the 1st
year’s energy consumption.
